Objectives

The Federation aims to develop and promote Kudo, a new comprehensive and unarmed martial arts system created by Mr. Takashi AZUMA. Kudo is intended to be useful in practical self-defense, to convey the values of Japanese culture found in Budo (classical Japanese martial arts), to serve a social purpose for education, and to be a competitive sport. Through the promotion of Kudo, the Federation seeks to promote social education, awareness of Budo culture and sport, international exchanges, as well as the healthy physical and mental development of young people.


Non-Profit Activities

In order to achieve the above objectives, the Federation performs the following activities:

  • 1- Promotion of education
  • 2- Promotion of culture, arts, and/or sports
  • 3- Promotion of international cooperation
  • 4- Promotion of the healthy development of youth
  • 5- Advice/assistance to organizations implementing the above activities

Business Activities

To achieve the set objectives, the Federation engages in the following activities as a fee-generating business related to non-profit activities:

  • Teaching and training in Kudo
  • Publishing books/magazines, advertising, communication, and leveraging mass media/Internet
  • Classification exams and trainer certifications
  • Organizing the World Championships every four years
  • Other activities necessary reaching the Federation's objectives
